February 2, 2013 – Membership Drive

This weekend is The Big Day for SCORE! Saturday kicks off our 2013 Season, with our annual Membership Drive. Why become a member?

• Eligibility for Series Points & Trophies
• Discounts on SCORE Club Races and Merchandise
• RC Product Discounts
• Access to members-only SCORE Forum
• The prestige of being a part of one of the oldest and most reputable RC facilities in the US!
• Chance to win a prize at each Series race valued at up to $100!

How do I become a member?
Membership is only $40 for the year. Broken down, that’s like a dime and some pocket lint per day. If you’re a regular racer, that could mean savings of as much as $120! Sweet deal! You can also include children on your membership for $5 each.

What else is going on?
The first race of the Spring Saturday Series starts! We’ll be racing the following classes:

• Novice Short Course Truck
• Stock 17.5 Short Course Truck
• Open 2WD 1/10 Scale
• 4WD Short Course Truck
• Electric 1/8 Buggy
• Nitro 1/8 Buggy

At the end of the 5-race series, there’ll be trophies and/or plaques!

We also have our annual SCORE elections, where we vote in 3 new leaders to oversee the club for the year.

Don’t miss it! Racing starts at 1:00PM, so get there early for a good parking spot, some practice, and to get registered for the race and the year. We’ll see you there!

2013 Colonel’s Winter Classic

Just a reminder that registration is open! To register, please see one of our track officials in the booth. Registration is $25 per class.

We ask that you register before practicing. Practice is being organized to make sure everyone gets a shot. We are allowing 12 drivers per round practice for 10 minutes, with closed practice for 1/10 Buggy and Short Course sessions announced throughout the day. When finished, those practicing are asked to turn marshall for the following round.

Be sure to check out the Colonel’s Winter Classic website for all of the latest updates, results, heat sheets, and more.

Thanks again to everyone who came out, and to our many sponsors this year!
